5 Stars A Must Have for Anyone Who Travels!!!
This book is a gold mine! Do your self a favor and buy one for yourself and a few more to have on hand for gifts in the future!!! I consider myself pretty well organized when it comes to travel with our son, but this book gave me so many more ideas and tips. Well worth it, and enjoyable to read!
5 Stars A must-read before you travel overseas with a baby!
I recently purchased several books on traveling with children, and this was by far the best. By the time I finished the book, I had several pages of notes written down, including things to pack that I never thought of, things to do before I go, products to check out and websites to visit. Reading this book has made me feel much more prepared and less nervous for my upcoming trip to France with a 15 month old, and I am confident that our trip can only go smoother having read this one!
5 Stars For Families on the Go!
A must-have resource for families on the go. Interesting reading and packed with helpful tips. Easy-to-use charts to help families find the best airlines, ships, etc. for their specific needs. Perfect gift for parents of young children!
5 Stars This book ROCKS!!!
Seriously, this is a travel bible for new parents. What a huge help this book has been from selecting a good stroller (wished we would have found this BEFORE we had our baby for car seat info too!) to calling ahead to find out if a hotel has a crib saving our trunk space from a pack and play or other. Prepping the diaper bag and carry ons have never been simpler and I have memorized the shopping list for baby must haves while traveling. Never would have thought of some of that stuff! The blog is excellent too. Please give this gift to new mommies and daddies with your baby shower gift…I am so grateful for the different age sections and different types of travel reviews. Thank you Ms. Rivoli!
5 Stars Great help for parents traveling with children
I’m flying to Europe alone with my 18 mo old daughter next month and I found this book to be a great help in preparing for the trip. It contains a lot of useful information, tips, and things I would’ve completely overlooked had I not read this book.
PassPorters Open Mouse for Walt Disney World and the Disney Cruise Line Easy Access Vacations for Travelers with Extra Challenges
April 13, 2009 by Cruise Vacation · Leave a Comment

America’s most popular resort destination made it to the top of the charts for many reasons — a hug from Mickey, a childhood revisited, a cleaner, safer, friendlier world… chief among them is Disney’s hospitality. At Disney, every visitor is a guest, and Disney’s parks, restaurants, cruise ships, and hotels strive to embrace everyone, regardless of any special accommodations they may require. In fact, when you think of it, virtually every family or group that visits Walt Disney World and the Disney Cruise Line has a special challenge. It’s hardly a one-size-fits-all world, yet at Disney everyone seems to fit. It’s clear that Disney has a reputation for accommodating guests with obvious special challenges — you’ll see more wheelchairs and electric scooters in Disney parks than you’re likely to see almost anywhere else. But Disney’s hospitality extends further, to those with less visible requirements. Disney offers accommodations for those who know to ask: Devices to help a hearing- or vision-impaired guest enjoy a show * theme park maps and translation devices in six languages * “Special assistance” for children with autism or ADD * a sheltered spot to breastfeed an infant * chefs and waiters schooled to serve a wide spectrum of special dietary needs * rides sized to fit guests of various disabilities and dimensions… You could fill a volume, and indeed, that’s what PassPorter Travel Press and authors Deb Wills and Debra Martin Koma have done in this completely updated guidebook.

5 Stars Vegetarians with small kids including an infant
We bought this book to find tips about where the best places to stay and eat at WDW with a 4 month old, 2 and 4 year olds and which places could best accommodate a vegetarian family. We found the information in the book to be very helpful from everything from which rides the older kids can ride, where I could go to breast feed my infant, where special dietary requests can be handled and which places to stay that would be quite and comfortable for the entire family.
4 Stars Best book for travel challenges!
If you or a family member suffers from food allergies, motion sensitivity, mobility issues, fears, or any other special needs or challenges, this book and show how you can have a fantastic time at Walt Disney World!
This book has a lot of the information from the PassPorter’s Walt Disney World combined with additional information for those with travel disabilities and allergies.
My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that it really doesn’t cover the Disney Cruise Line all that much.
5 Stars a wonderful book !
I got this book and was so impressed with it my sister got it to. its one of the best books you can have for WDW. I give it 10 stars.
5 Stars excellent resource for Disney travelers!
Although we have visited Walt Disney World many times, the information available in this book was genuinely helpful. We’re also looking into the cruise/park vacation packages, and there seemed to be a lot of information there, too.
4 Stars Special Needs Interest
I think this book has valuable information. It is a good book. I am a person with health considerations and a big Disney Fan. I found this book and the Walt Disney World with Disabilities both very helpful. Since they are both good references for my needs with their own style and quality I used them both.

5 Stars Awesome cruise planner & diary!
This Cruise Planner was my bible in planning an 18-day transatlantic cruise. There were plenty of extra pages to list our tour information, things we wanted to see, and other important info. We were able to list our medical insurance & travel insurance information, itinerary and wardrobe planning, packing checklist, addresses for writing home as well as gift ideas for people and homecoming reminders (pick up the dog, pay bills, etc). While onboard the ship, I took notes about where we ate, what we did in port. This was great because after so many port stops you forget what the significance of things you took pictures of, the name of that great restaurant you want to recommend to friends, etc. There are also sections to list ship information (ship statistics, captain, crew members) and a “new friends address book.” I was also able to log our purchases by category and date in the 4 page expense journal…
This book is so awesome - I highly recommend for your cruise vacationing, especially cruises of longer than 7 days or very port-intensive trips where you are doing a lot of private or on-your-own shore excursions. I will be buying a new journal for every cruise I take.
5 Stars A winner
Before my last vacation, I bought three different travel planner/journals to try out; one was computer based (and I did use it for some data organizing but found that printing it out wasn’t as handy or as easy to pack as a notebook) and two were notebooks. One of the notebooks is still buried at the bottom of some pile of papers while the CruiseMinder Journal became my constant companion. It took all my planning notes before the trip and became my journal during the trip.
Since I wasn’t up to designing my own travel journal, CruiseMinder had the features I thought that I would want and use: places for organizing trip basics like emergency info, reservation numbers, phone numbers; a planner/agenda section for organizing day-by-day activities; packing lists; an addressbook; a place to keep track of expenses; a large section of formated journal pages with plenty of room for my own day-by-day notes.
The CruiseMinder is simple and practical. There are no avant-garde cutsey quotes or distracting artwork. The typefaces are simple and legible. There are ruled lines everywhere I need to write. The paper is heavy enough that 1)you can write in pen on both sides of the pages and 2) it doesn’t pull out of the plastic coil binding. The fact that it is spiral bound made it a lot easier to stuff notes and receipts between the pages as the trip went on.
I am very disorganized so the CruiseMinder was very helpful for me to keep all the necessary information in one place. In fact, I’m here today buying another CruiseMinder for my next trip.
